Decisions are hard to make. The best thing to do is sit down and make a list of the things YOU want, then measure the jobs against that standard. Which one comes closest to your ideal?

What hours do you want?
What location do you want?
What pay do you want?
What age group do you want to teach?
Where do you want to live?
How many classes a day do you expect to teach?
What do the other foriegners working there have to say?
Is the contract decent?

To be honest, I couldn't imagine teaching anywhere in Korea, except for Seoul. Things sometimes suck there, but it's a lot worse anywhere in ROK.

While I never lived in Busan, I was kind of impressed. It's not set up for English speakers like Seoul. It caters a lot more to Japanese tourists. But it's kind of a less crowded big city.

I would err on the side of caution when dealing with Longbridge Pacific.

ECC is notorious for being bad throughout Korea. Check the blacklists. There are so many ECCs on these blacklists, not to mention they have the lowest pay of all the chain schools. My friend was STILL making 1.5 at an ECC in Seoul in her fifth year...that's five years at the same ECC. This was in 2001, but 1.5 was still bad in 2001.

Has any one heard anything positive or negative about the three other schools, Kim n Lee Language School in Suwon, Seo-Jeon Institute in Busan, Saint Andrew school? Also, I ahve been talking with the recruitment agency teachaway and they said that they can offer me a public school position. What is your guys take on public school to private??? Thanks for all the help so far any more would be greatly appreaciated.
