@Flotsam:
But you keep saying "he" and "guy," so are we to assume that Real Reality is a guy, or are you just trying to lead us on a wild goose chase. |

Real Reality is a complete waste of time. Like I need some obsessional posting (spamming) negative articles all day - I can read newspapers, they do the job well enough.
Basically, the whole premise of RR rests on the fact that he/she/it sees as all as retards who can't see Korea for the Koreans, and who need a bit of a helping hand noticing, well, anything, it appears. |

I respect your opinion, however I disagree. RR throws up some crazy stuff sometimes. I rarely click on links that people put up here; I do with his.
He has some great stuff and leaves his threads open for debate. What's wrong with that? He doesn't post often and when he does, he is careful (from the little that I have seen of his posts) how he articulates himself. It's usually brief, concise, and to the point. I respect that.
I'll tell you one thing, IT'S A LOT BETTER THAN READING NEGATIVE S#(@ all day long! If I wanted to do that, I would watch the news or read CNN for 3 minutes. |

The biggest problems are:
(a) the sheer number of them
(b) the completely one-sided nature of them
(c) the fact that they are available easily on the net anyway
(d) the fact he/she/it DOESN'T back them up with any sort of personal opinion, which is just a sign of an agenda without the requisite intelligence to see it through. I mean, I could go through and find a negative article from, say, Peru every day, cut and paste the link, and suddenly I'm a respected poster?
Please tell me, in this puniest of all honors, that's not all there is to it? |

Yes. Well, maybe. If you were posting on a Peruvian discussion forum.
This forum is for expats (mainly teachers) living in Korea. RR posts news articles about Korea. Yes, they are always negative but, as the 'apologists' and 'whiners' here on Dave's have agreed upon the fact that there are negatives about Korea, then RR has a valid role here. |

You're right. I think he had RR in mind when he said this:
The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources. |

Uh...he never hides his sources. Wikiquote should be used with caution. |

no no, I mean he is able to be creative by hiding 'his' source. Nevermind... |

i also always thought it was beaver or superhero
never suspected tiberious aka sparkles
so he's RR, then?
in hindsight it makes sense, i guess -- i've always appreciated the attention they (both?) pay to formatting -- bold, italics, etc.
