I have a school here in Budang and was wondering if anyone has heard of it, or has had any experience with it?
Its LCI Kids club (the website says LCI ACademy - Not sure if it is different) WHat about the city? What is it like?
Also, have a public school in Ansan. Anyone live in that area?
I have lived in Daegu before so I am familiar with the hawgwon and public school job diff. I am just wondering if anyone had any opinions on either of the 2 citities....or if they know of LCI in Budang.
Thanks! |

Ansan is a neat city and it is only about 60 minutes from Samgachi Station.
I lived in Bundang and did not like it due to the presence of an unavoidable clique of anti-American teachers from Canada. This area of Seongnam City is sterile, too.
Kids Club is just up the street from Seohyun Station and the Express Bus stop. I was going to do some sub work there and received permission from my employer and an immigration officer. Kids Club canceled the gig after I paid for permission to teach there.
Choose Ansan. |

KCI schools seem to produce some kids with good english ability, by comparison. I have no idea about the Bundang branch, though. Or if LCI is good to work for! |

Hardly, specific to Bundang. On topic, do a search you will read a million posts on Bundang. It's got a track that you can run/bike/rollarblade on. |

You're right. What made it intolerable was the fact that I had to live with three of them, and they bragged to me about trying to drug the American before me into losing his job. Real class act, eh.
Two of them, by the way, were recent high school graduates with fake credentials from a mobbed up Korean recruiter |

Is this Kid's Club Fun Languages you speak of? I worked for one and found it to be a shit brand. The kids' english ability sucked, there was no discipline, no textbook plans (new ideas from month to month) and the director was an ass. This was the Kid's Club in Ansan.
