My favourite would be Safavid dynasty. However they were post-Persia, but pre-Iran. So I'm not sure which check as cooler.

I think what would be the coolest is that the whole ME should be a giant punch bowl.
When all the deserts have turned into Glass it would be easier to see the oil flowing under neath it. |

I have to go with them being cooler nowdays as aircon has helped to cool down the palaces/ homes more then fan waving did.
It was once said that while the names changed the attitudes/ actions of the Russian Secret Police never really did. I sometimes think the same could be said of the Middle East, the names change, the attitudes and actions remain the same. |
