As an American, do I have to have it before hand like in Vietnam, or can I get it upon arrival? |

How long are you planning on staying? If you want to stay over 30 days, then you have to apply for a visa at the Thai embassy here in Seoul. You can apply for a fifteen day extension on the 30 days entry stamp, in Bangkok. However, if you want to stay longer than forty five days, you need a multiple entry visa. |
