Hey I just got a quick question. I got offered a job which I think is pretty close to ideal. Now in previous posts I have read it is important to get a contract sent to you that has already been signed by your employer.

However the recruiter wants me to sign it and fax the last page to her and then mail a full signed copy. I am thinking maybe this isn't an issue becaus the job is in a public school on a standard contract.

Should I worry about this or just sign and send?

Public school contracts are pretty standard. If your ok with everything in the contract, then sign it and send it. I'd suggest you wait for some other responses though.

I've read through it pretty carefully and it is pretty in depth about most things. The only real thing that got my attention was the maths in regards to the hours. Where it stated that the teaching will teach no more than 22 hours per week BUT it also says that the teacher will work 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Now I am thinking what the? Am I really going to spend half my time preparing for classes or will I spend half my time looking out the window in the office.
