No. He is a cheating *beep* who should be banned. Whats inspirational about cheaters?

Are you always a dork, or do you stay up nights perfecting that persona?

The final verdict is not in. I said his recovery from his disasterous late race day was inspirational--if it was legitimate. If it turns out he cheated, then he should be punished and stripped of his victory. Fair is fair. But to sit here in Korea and pretend to know what someone on the other side of the world was doing is just crap.

Staying up too late as usual and watching the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the zany comic-host announced that Floyd Landis had been scheduled to appear, but that he canceled at the last minute. Ferguson then cut to a "news" segment showing the latest results of Landis' tests showing a positive read for "chickenshiit" in his urine... Surprised

Proof please that "his buddy Lance" cheated.

That's what I thought. You don't have any. Thanks for playing.

I love the headline/lead on the positive result of the B sample:

Quote:
Landis caught in war against drugs

PARIS (Reuters) - American Floyd Landis became the latest casualty in the war against doping after a second drugs sample confirmed a positive test for excessive amounts of the male sex hormone testosterone during the Tour de France.

Not like "dirty cheater was going to lose and he tried this ham fisted cheat to win the race and just disgraced himself and his entire nation." No no. He's merely a victim in this war. Geez. Tell us like it is.

His mother was on CNN, before the B sample results, prattling on about how God was just trying show her son some humility before He gave him true title to the yellow jersey. Like god, if it exists, cares about who wins a bike race.

Why do celebs always thank god? "I want to thank God for this super bowl victory!"

Just once I want to hear them add "And I want to thank God for the three $1000 a night hookers and the lines of coke I scored for free last night..."

C'mon.

His (latest) excuse is that his body just naturally produces more testosterone. Laughing
Wasn't that the power of an X-men?

You have to wonder though if people are going to get the impression just because Landis did it, automatically assume Lance Armstrong is guilty of it as well (as Jinju did in a post in this thread). I have no problem with Landis getting stripped of the title given the latest development. However, I think it's a big stretch to say Armstrong did the same thing. Especially given the fact there is no proof of it.

What makes you so uppity as to need proof? Jinju doesn't need proof. Bile is enough for him. Why not you?

Ok, somebody has to say it, because this is Dave's.

Can you imagine the reaction if he was Korean?
