Videos and card games. Sponge-bob, MTV, and One-Card.

I taught my kids how to play Big 2. It's Chinese poker.

Yeah a good ice breaker is in order. Do you have any that you've found work well with teenagers?

Ones that I find that work well with teenagers is something that deals with things that they like-usually stuff with pop-culture or something. If you can find out what kind of things they talk about before class with each other, then maybe you can bring up that kind of stuff as an icebreaker. If you are lucky, they will be jumping for the chance to express their opinion about that.

Again, good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Hi,
I used the human knot at a school camp just last week. The group was twenty kids of grade 1 and 2 middle school combined, (with just a couple of grade 6 elementary) so I split them into two teams. After the initial squirming of maybe having to hold the hand of someone of the opposite sex, it went over really well and they seemed to enjoy it.
