Ahh, UNB. What a sad, sad institution. They sold CS to Microsoft, contracted Physics out to the military, and stopped hiring for the Arts faculty years ago.

Did you hear the Education department is under review??? Really!

Though, the CS department is still pretty good. When choosing between them and Waterloo, I went with them (I had the choice). Waterloo is more famous, and maybe better, but much more theoretical, and I wasn't into that as much. Also, the co-op program was kickass. Some of the profs were pretty bad though, though I found that in the math and psychology depts too. I loved my history course, Dr. Milner. He was cool.

What did you study?

I did not, though there's been lots of talk lately about low grad quality, so I'm not surprised. However, I doubt it's limited to UNB.

Crap Jacl! When I saw it I was surprised, when I saw the second pic I realized I walked up to that fricken building everyday (Computer Science). Jacl, maybe you can help. Who the hell thought of building the university on a hill??? Especially for me, a Computer Science student, walking to res in the winter SUCKED!!!

I went to hockey school there when I was a kid. Think about dry land at the gym and walking up to hockey practice with no pucks.

French Linguistics. Some economics. I even went as far as stydying calculus. Ooh.

I think UNB was, at one time, considered the party university of Canada. Maybe when they had a football team. Now, for NB, I think the party's in Sackville. But, I'm old.
