| exactly what is it in Korea? Just cause there are dressing differences I thought I would ask. If you can provide pictures that would be great! |

| Along the same lines, are tank tops (nice ones with thick straps) generally accepted? What about shoes? Are sandles ok? |

Depends on where you work. Hogwons can be lax or strict. Sandles probably OK, no flip flops, tank tops maybe not, wear a shrug. Don't wear shorts. Universities expect a little more. Just be well groomed.
I usually wear a dress or nice slacks and a blouse. I don't do heels. Of course, I also wear salwar kameez, which give some Koreans fits! Be conservative until you know what you can get away with. |

Business casual in Korea: a see-through, short-sleeved dress shirt (preferably dull gray) with a wifebeater underneath. As well, you'll need a string-necked tie, some triple-pleated pants with a too-long belt and some slightly oversized black shoes.
And be sure to put a pack of This cigarettes in your shirt pocket. |
