I want to change the audio on some downloaded videos and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a software I can download to do this....something to overdub or add subtitles....Thanks!

unfortunately for audio, (i'm assuming here that the movies you downloaded are Hollywood) you can't change the audio without rebuilding it from scratch. you could overdub your own dialogue, sounds, etc. but for it to sound decent would take a LOT of time. But if you really wanted to, you could use audacity or for better multitracking, you could use krystal audio engine. For adding your finished audio to your video, you could use virtual dub. Unfortunately, any program that you can add your own audio to video files with is gonna need you to encode them as well, so there may be loss of video quality. But that is a different story. Good Luck!

Hey thanks! I'm actually trying to modify some short news-clip type files, not full movies....does this make a difference for the applications? I'm also wondering if you know how to save YouTube or GoogleVideo clips to your computer for future mods...I'm gonna check out those links right away, thanks!
