|
|
Has anyone had any dealings with 재상송 of JOBSEARCH?
The e-mail address is [email protected]
and the phone number is 010-6771-2220.
This guy seems to have a geranium in his cranium.
This morning, I got a message from a prospective employer,
informing me that I was accepted for the position.
I wrote to Mr. 재, thanking him for his help, but cancelling my appointment with his client for this afternoon.
That didn't stop Mr. 재.
He called me four times today.
I hadn't signed the document, so he persisted with job vacancies.
I told him that my job was in a small town, teaching the preferred age group, and the director is very happy with my creative ideas.
Those factors were more important to me than salary.
Nevertheless, he persisted with vacancies which were in the Seoul area, but which offered higher salary.
The fourth time I hung up on him, I got a text message which wasn't very nice.
Any savvy campaign manager knows that the best prospects are voters who are not yet committed to a candidate.
Any savvy salesman knows that the best prospects are customers who are not yet loyal to a competing brand.
Why, then, did JJSong keep hounding me?
If you have had dealings with this whirleybird, I am curious.
If you haven't, then I advise you to take caution. |

A geranium in the cranium!!?????!!!
Well, the point may be...did you actually apply for anything with this Mr Song in the first place?
Perhaps it is that you have become so famous for the expertise you demonstrate with teaching kids that a headhunter is after you!! Everyone wants you so badly!!! There is a big bounty on your ketchup!!!!!!
I once tried a recruiter. They called me at my yeogwan at about 1am. They explained about a position. I said I wasn't interested. They called again at 2am with another offer. Then, about an hour later with another. I disconnected my phone line and never had contact with them again. I don't like such pushiness no matter what the offer. |

I can't take credit for that little gem.
I got it from the Ann Landers column. |

HOLY COW!!! I had a bad experience with the same guy! I contacted this guy a couple of months ago to see, if he can help me find a job. At first, he seemed fine, but he never came through with anything. He would tell me about one job, then I won't hear back from him. He did this several times. He seemed very fishy.
Couple of weeks later, I ended up finding a job on my own. Then, he calls me last week and tells me about this great job that he can offer me, but I told him that I already found a job. He didn't quit there. He tried to pursuade me to interview with this school, even though I said no. I told him that I will call him in a few days, if I wanted to have the interview. He should of got the hint when I didn't call him back, but he called me about 6 times in a 3 hour period. I was in the middle of teaching, so I didn't answer my phone. Also, I did not want to talk to this guy.
Then, he sends me a text message that was not very polite. I can't really repeat what he said, but they were words that will get you boiled up. I had one of my Korean teachers call him to see what his problem was and he cussed her out. I felt so bad for her. Anyways, he sent me several more rude messages. I didn't want to stoop down to his childish level, so I just left it alone. He has no idea who he's messing with. I better not run into him in the streets. I can use my 8 years of boxing skills on his sorry pathetic a__. I don't understand why he acted the way he did.
He goes by the name Johnny or something like that. His office number is 02-3413-2333 and his cell phone number is 010-6771-2220.
Anybody know where his office is located? Is there a way that I can report him? |

Good post, I think people need to be more aware of some of the really bad recruiters that are out there.
Some of them are very pushy and don't have jack worth of listening skills. It's obvious that teachers should stay away from this slimeball. |

He has been sending me heaps of emails with jobs and saying that I must call him that night or Ill miss out. Hes been requesting for my number but I havent given it as I hate giving recruiters my number unless the have a good job to offer as they call at the most inconvient times!
Thanks for the warning cos now I know not to deal with him!!! |

Why not invest in one of those GPS phones that can make a location based on the number.
Har har har. |

This guy must have gone out of business.
The last time I made a job search, I never saw his agency listed anywhere. |

Actually, I'd like to be made aware of a good recruiter (good meaning ethical).
I think it'd be a long wait. |

I'm not surprised if he's out of business.
Pushing teachers into signing with his schools and leaving rude messages doesn't help. If teachers dont sign with his schools, then he ain't getting the commission, hence he's not getting any cash.
True market forces at work. |
