Anyone have any good recommendations for a tour operator for the standard 3 or 4 day tour to China for Chuseok?

www.kangsan.co.nz

kangsan travel

I've booked on a 5 day tour to Beijin

I like the idea of a tour - everything organised - makes it easier for me and probably safer as I'm travelling alone...

the only downfall is that unless I find a friend to go with me - it will cost 150,000 more - the cost of a single room over a twin.

Anyone interested?

I did the China tour in chuseok 2003.

It was cool if you just want a brief introduction to china and have never been before but it sure is tiring....I was more tired when i got back then when i left Smile

I too am looking to go to China for Chuseock however, my co-teacher has just told me the Chinese celebrate this holiday too. Does anyone Know if this will cause a disruption to the normal going-on's of Beijing?.

Mid autumn festival - moon festival - parties and fireworks all over the place.

Be sure to get your moon cakes.
