Is this possible? Legal? I see now it was an oversight that I/we didn't arrange for a joint account, but ... we didn't. Can I send money from Korea to another (EU) country into another person's bank account?

I've wired numerous times to other accounts in the past. Pretty straightforward. Try to send via PayPal or MoneyBookers, if possible.

I've wired money to someone back home (granted this was in the US) and didn't have any problems.

I believe this still counts toward the yearly limit (to which their is another thread specifically about that), but that can be circumvented several ways if need be.

Go to your bank and arrange it. It's a bit of a pain in the ass at first as it takes over an hour to cut through the red-tape here.

My bank (Wooribank) has a service which automatically sends a given portion of your salary monthly to any foreign account you choose. Very handy and a new service.

The limit is your salary so don't worry about it unless you're into some illicit businesses.
