It was hot last night, and being that I dont have A/C, I thought I'd go outside to cool off a bit, sit on a park bench and enjoy a cool breeze. A group of ajummas walks by. (Suspiciously, they often travel in groups, don't they?) Even though my Korean is not so great, I could pick up the little bit they were saying. One woman said "the invasion of Lebanon is coming along to plan, no? and then another chimed in with "yes, the new world order shall be in place by years end, and we shall rule the world!" And then they all laughed, in that evil megalomaniacal ajumma way.

My wife insisted they were talking about radishes or something, but that only makes me think she is part of the plot.

Does anyone else know of the evil plotting of ajummas which threaten our very way of life?

Of course. They are known to congregate in city parks after dusk, forming long, noisy conga lines, doing ritual power-shots of soju, and hissing at foreigners who cross their path, all the while hatching their wicked schemes of world conquest and green-belt de-zoning.

Our puny man-made weapons are powerless against them. Utterly powerless. Crying or Very sad

lol ...try going to the resturants at the top of the Hyundai department store about lunch time ...esp the one at Coex...they are there by the hundreds all chatting at 100 miles per hours ...after leaving my ears felt actualy like I had been in a loud concert... must be part of their strategy...

Oh and also ever notice that at 3:30 almost every car is being driven by an ajumma? ...back from a rally?

OH Oh and then the biggest mystery of all is where is what I call the missing link! ....I see pretty unmarried Korean girls and then I see ajumma ...there seems to be no in between ...what happens? ..on the wedding night the ajumma's sweep in and replace you wife with an ajumma version? I just dont get it...

One of the first things I made up in Korea... years and years ago:
Code:
When you go out in the street today
You'd better go in disguise.
When you go out in the street today
You're in for a big surprise!
For everywhere are women
Who wear whatever they dare
And they don't care!
'Cause this where the ajummas have their picnic...
I'm sure you know the tune

Indeed, it's this and this.

Neat idea! Though some of the lines didn't scan too well, so if I might:

If you go out to the park tonight
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go out to the park tonight
You'd better go in disguise.

For ev'rywhere are women who wear
Whatever they dare, they haven't a care,
'Cause that's the way the ajummas have their pic ~ nic!

Picnic time for ajummas,
Those scrappy ajummas are sporting their spiffy visors now
Red ones, green ones, purple ones
blah blah,
I'm not going to spoof the whole damn song.

what if they are not really picking up bottles and boxes? What if instead they are planting listening devices throughout the neighborhood?

Food for thought.

Goyem take ware.

They definitely have a conspiracy in making life nasty for the rest of society.
