| The funny thing is some educated people believe this crap. Full grown engineers, doctors two fo the nurses in my city hall class, they all think 'fan death' is the real deal. |

Come on guys, what about the West's 'Spontaneous Combustion?'
Those (unfortunate) people that just burn for no reason? |

| The explanation of fan death is accepted by many Korean medical professionals. In summer, mainstream Korean news sources regularly report on cases of fan death, even if more likely causes (e.g. heart attack, gunshot, alcohol poisoning) are evident. |

| My husband has a law degree and he believes it too. Although, I think that he is starting to doubt it because he has let me close the door and window and leave the fan on in our bedroom a few times recently. He would never admit I'm right to my face now though because we had an argument about how silly fan death was once. |

When you live to update us, Koreans will say that your body condition is different. They will say that most Koreans have low blood pressure, which makes the difference. You will become, to Koreans, the exception to the rule (as will any foreigner who does it).
