Unfortunately, the Ritz Carlton in Seoul is not quite the same as Ritzes elsewhere. The Shilla, The Westin Chosun, The Hyatt etc. are all better hotels. (I have stayed at all of them and compared).. |

update for the month of August:
As of today:
Plaza Hotel, SEoul - 180,000 and you only get free Breakfast
Intercontinental Hotel, Seoul (next to Co-Ex) - 225,000 and you only get breakfast
Chosun Hotel, Seoul - 220,000 and you only get breakfast.
Ritz is coming out as the winner. I know these places have other deals (for Koreans), but these are the one's we can get.
Yeah baby...Ritz here I come!!! I hope my wife enjoys it. It'll be two years that she gave me the honor of being her eternal. |

That's a pretty good deal. A top quality hotel buffet breakfast can run you $30-$35 easy. Now add in the dinner. That's about $150 in hotel food. So you're getting a room for $65 with still more extras heaped in.
Do they have a pool? |

You troll. Do you think I would base my choice on how big the "pool" is?

My gf and I spent a weekend at the Imperial Palace (aka Amiga Hotel). I noticed two things about the pool:
1) Unlike Korean beaches where women don't wear anything more revealing than jean cutoffs and a tshirt, it's bikinis a poppin' at a private hotel pool.
2) At aged 40, I was in better shape than the younger upper middle classed Korean men lounging around the pool. |

mind me too,
how much did you pay for your room??
I understand what you mean about the K guys. I went to everland a week or so ago and most of the early 20 somethings were slim, but flabby, if you know what I mean. |

The IP was about $170 a night but that's with nothing. Just the straight room. |
