They just refused to pay 1.6 million they owed to one of their foreign teachers who was made to quit because the school has almost no students. The management has recently changed and the new person running things just cares about the bottom line and not who he cheats.

Yes,

The details are that there was a pretty decent owner for a few years.

About 6 months ago some rich lady took the place over and bought the guy out.

She was sweet and paid on time and remodeled the place and things were going all right.

Then after six months, simply because Uijeongbu is a tough place economically to make money, the 100 new students that the guy who sold her the franshise said she would get if she remoldeled, never came.

So she got stressed out because she had to tell her husband, a doctor with the bedside manner of Hannibal Lecter, that she had just blown about 50 million won on improvements and had jack to show for it.

So Hannibal the Cannibal walks in and takes over, fires people, doesn't pay people, just throws the whole thing into complete chaos.

He owed my friend 1.6 mil and the as* clown had the nerve to tell him that my friend owed him 700,000 won. He also tried to selectively fire him, in other words fire him only from classes that weren't turning a profit.

Uijeongbu Ivy is now run by Hannibal the Tyrant, a self-centered ugly little git.
