I never saw the tv show, it looked like a stupid concept (of course it was meant to be a stupid concept- what I mean is: too stupid). I saw the Ringer and thought it wasn't too bad, maybe this Johnny Knoxville has a bit of talent and showmanship.
So, has anyone seen the Jackass movie? Is it worth 90-120 Min of my time? |

If you're posting stuff like this, is there anything that ISN'T worth 90 minutes of your time? |

I think it is like most any show - you turn it into a movie and it sorta blows...I can't think of a single show which once put on the big screen was great...
...correct me if someone knows of any... |

But, Jackass:The Movie is just an extended version of the normal show. There is no plot or narrative!! It's not a movie. Just 3 minute chunks of people getting hurt or acting stupid.
I liked it! |

Do you live in some kind of a time warp? That movie is like three years old, you can get them off the 1000won rack. If you have time to post, you have time to watch one of the most influential movies of the 90's. It's worth it for the anthropological value alone. |

It's three years old but it's one of the most influential movies of the 90's?
I hope that's a joke.
I found the movie funny enough most of the time, painful some of the time and digusting a bit of the time. It's got its moments. You'd better be quick though or you'll really be behind they ball. They're all set to release Jackass: Number Two

I don't care what anyone says it's all worth it to watch a moron crawl along a rope with crocodiles jumping to eat the meat stuffed in his daks. |

The clue was in the poll.
If I really wanted to see it I would have done so by now.
But thanks just the same, jackbum. |

If you like the show, then the movie is good and worth the watch, but it's the kind of movie you can really only watch once, so don't buy the dvd - just rent it. Or get a burned copy somewhere for a couple of bucks. |
