This is why conscript armies are worth their weight in crap.

A professional soldier is worth 20 conscripted soldiers.

Meh, lots of countries have conscription. Especially those that are threatened by war.

Anyways, people snap all the time. The ones that have easy access to guns can cause a bit more of a problem than others.

As a Canadian, I must ask Wrench to please never tell anyone again that you are too. I love my country but honestly we have just as many problems as any other country.

I remember reading about a group of teenagers (in B.C.) that beat up a girl, broke her arms, legs, and back, then tossed her into a river and watched her drown.

Here's a link http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/virk/

Another story of a mentally handicapped girl that was attacked, raped, and murdered on her way to work. After the police questioned residents of the area, they found that several people reported they heard screams of help for over half and hour straight that morning. None of them even bothered to phone the police.

I can't find a link for that one, but it happened.

Anyways, if you were really proud of your country, you wouldn't have to brag about it to other people.

I have a Canadian buddy who was in the army. He said the Canadian miltary is so broke that they dont even have the money to train with live ammo. Maybe this is why you dont here about Canadian army shootings.

Unless that conscripted army is a band of highly trained wing chun super nin-jitsu ninjas ... Think about that one then.

Did you use a 220-110 power converter? Probably not. The vcr was from the states as i said in the ad. Also the square prongs on the plug should have told you this. Anyway, it can be fixed with a 500won fuse.

Yesterday.......another "disturbed" canadian retard complains about "another thing in Korea that makes canada better"

1. the "canadian teacher is lucky to be here and doesn't have any gratitude toward the home country. Living here because obviosly he can't get a decent job in his home country. He never learns to be a man and be grateful.

2. Why do these boys need to complain about everything??? Here is my opinion: canadians are taught in their country that they are the best. Gun control (lol), socialist government that cares about nobody but themselves. Thats why when these little boys go off to other countries to get jobs, they don't know how to be polite and respect other people because canada is the best. Isn't it totally and utterly pathetic????

Sportsguy35, I can assure you that that most Canadians don't go out of their way to put other countries down. It's just a few.

Honestly, most of us just think that Korea is just really different than Canada. At times we are baffled by what happens here. But I never think "Canada is better than Korea". That would be silly.

I don't see any "veteran" posters on here. Maybe staying away from this with a 10-foot kimbap. Don't blame'em.

As for experincing a nervous breakdown or low on funds in the military, you can do what I did and take the rounds out of my gun and clip and simply throw the rounds!
Did that to a buddy of mine while we were hidden from each other in tall Korean grass and waiting for the mock bad guys coming for us. He really thought people were attacking him with blank rounds being thrown at him!
Of course I got a huge chewing-out by him and my superior once they realized it was me.

Wouldn't it be nice (hilarious) if all conflicts had to be resolved by hand tossing their bullets and 1-ton bombs. Kinda like counting coup like Native Americans and hitting the enemy with wooden sticks.

"I got you! No! I got you! You're dead! Nuh-uh! YOU'RE dead!" Laughing

Hapkido-In,

Thanks for reassuring sportsguy35.

Sportsguy35,

Now, now, lad. Calm down. You said "Canadians are taught in their country that they are THE BEST.." I guess you met some ignorant Canadians (emphasis on "some").

Really? Where did you acquire this information? What source, statistic, or cultural factor tells you that the majority of Canadians think that way?....Ohh, it was an OPINION!! ...I guess the latter explains it....Nevermind.

Furthermore, I don't know if you are American or not, but do you think the American government CARES about its people???....Example, Hurricane Katrina, proper Medical coverage, etc..
