I think I may win the award for the cheesiest first concert. MC Hammer....in Edmonton in 1988 or so. I was about 10 years old and went with my mom. How lame.

Did you see the Surreal Life season with him in it? Turns out he's a Christian minister now.

I saw Belly at the Foundry in Sheffield (UK). Also surfed a crowd for the first time (and discovered those security guys aren't too gentle with you!)

First concert: Molly Hatchet - Tallahassee Florida at FSU- a loooong time ago.

I remember songs like

"Flirtin' With Disaster"
"Gator Country"
"Beatin' The Odds"

Oh no, sorry, but I'm going to take the Most Pathetic award with ...

Barry Manilow. 1978 at the Greek Theatre, not with my mom but my first real boyfriend. My next concert was Heart, which helped to get the stink of Manilow off of me, but I'm afraid the stain will last forever.
