| Carmelo Anthony is out after his injury during the squad's recent Brazil win. |

Anyone see the US/Lithuania game today? I caught about 10 minutes on TV, but couldn't stay interested. It didn't help that the game's atmosphere (at least on the tube) was the same as that played in a high school gymnasium and covered by a cable access channel.
By the way, Yahoo! has conflicting reports that the final score was both 104-90 and 111-88 in favor of the US.
Anyway, good to see 'Melo back and again leading the US to victory.

Watch out now! Flash appears to have mastered the tre.

just saw the highlights on sportscenter here in the US. Amazed that the crowd was so small given how the Koreans love the NBA. Looked like the upper deck was empty
shame on the Koreans for not supporting this |

Shame on Korea basketball for charging such high prices. |

Anyone know if the Korea vs US game is sold out.
It was nice to see quite a few foreigners in the stands yesterday while watching on TV. |

quite a few? It was more than half!
The third tier bleachers were definately lacking, but I thought it wasn't bad. The most entertaing portion of yesterdays game were the b-boy dancers during half-time. |

I bought a decent ticket about an hour before the game outside Sunday. They have plenty of tickets left for tomorrow.
The one thing that ticked me off a bit was they double the price for the days the USA played. Still much cheaper than an NBA game, much less All-Star game at that.
I went in early and sat about 20-ft from the USA bench during warm-ups. I decided to stay there until someone ran me off, but I lucked out and noone ever did. It was awesome, they guys really put on a good show. It's one thing to watch on TV, but to be so close makes you appreciate how athletic these guys are, great show, worth the $$ imo.
Lebron, Wade and Melo on the same team, thats just unfair. |

Alright, so I get home today at around 3:30, excited because I'll be able to catch most of the US vs. Korea game. And what do I find? SBS Sports is instead broadcasting some meaningless soccer game.
I mean, even though the biggest basketball stars in the world are visiting our country for possibly the only time, there's no way we're showing our countrymen getting slaughtered on LIVE TV. Not on Korean Liberation Day (not to be confused with Korean Independence Day). Let's throw it on at 10:30 when everyone's watching Sunday night prime time dramas.
(Anyway, those who attended the game: how was it?)

Ha Sung-Jin cannot play basketball. And he's possibly the ugliest human being I've ever laid eyes on.

Watched the game today from the second tier and had a blast.
The Korean guys hustled, but simply could not match up physically with the USA team. |
