Flying soon.

I'm just wondering if this is carry-on or period.

I expect it's carry-on, but just checking.

Anyone know?

I believe it's just carry on, but things could change.

No, that's right. It's all true. Best not ask any questions or think to hard about just what the *beep* is really going on Evil or Very Mad

Orders have apparently now come from "on high" that all bladders are to be drained before boarding.

Any non-compliance is said will result in CADATHERS (sic) being promptly fixed & inserted into overly bloated flyers Idea

I know the airlines were just itching for a reason to keep people from carrying their own drinks on planes anyway, now that they are charging $5 for a beer.

Yep. Definitnely one of ploys.

Long ... hot ... tumultuous flights.

Water ... beer ... outrageously overpriced moldy donkey piss ... just give me ... some ... liquid ... please GOD ...

Or, to put it another way:

"Frankly Adolphus, i don't care how much it costs, just take these HANDCUFFS off & give me something to drink!"

Saline solution too. If you wear contacts, remember to wear glasses instead for the flight.

IRONY ALERT !!!

Authorities have known about "terrorists" using "liquids" or otherwise "fluid" based substances as potential WMDs at least since OPERATION BOJNKA ... back ... in ... 1995 Idea

BEND OVER (HERE IT COMES AGAIN) Twisted Evil

Oplan Bojinka
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bojinka

Oplan Bojinka (also known as Operation Bojinka, Project Bojinka, Bojinka Plot, Bojinga, possibly from Arabic: بجنكة slang in many dialects for explosion and pronounced Bo-JIN-ka, except in Egyptian where it is Bo-GIN-ka) was a planned large-scale attack on airliners in 1995.

Several media outlets, including TIME Asia [1], claim that the word Bojinka means "loud bang" or "explosion" in Serbo-Croatian. In Croatian, "bočnica"[2] translates into English as "boom".

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed fought with Muslim fighters in Bosnia and supported this effort financially [3]. Endnote 7 of Chapter 5 of the 9/11 Commission Report states that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed claims that "bojinka" is "a nonsense word he adopted after hearing it on the front lines in Afghanistan."

In English, the acronym "BOHICA" for 'Bend Over Here It Comes Again' is common military slang which refers to an incoming enemy attack, often bombs and is also used in online chat, e-mail, or newsgroup postings.

Not all media or text that refer to Oplan Bojinka will call it by that name Idea

I believe it's flights from anywhere to the US & UK. I know Tokyo & Singapore have imposed the stricter carry-on requirements on flights to those countries, and I'd be surprised if Korea didn't as well.

No it was earlier. North Korea agents used the liquid explosive to take down the KAL flight in 1987.

No worries. Mind you, more recent ( but don't worry, it isn't encroaching global state tyranny ) legislation in Japan
demands you submit & surrender your FINGERPRINTS.

Gotta love the NIPS Idea

I just flew back from Hong Kong and Macau to Seoul this morning. I carried a bottle of Soju, a can of soda, chapstick and Mulpass (spelling?) onto the plane, and I had no problems. Just put my stuff through the scanner and they handed it back to me.
I don't think it affects flights within Asia at all, hut if it does, they didn't care about me this morning.

I plan to show up with just my banana hammock and a book. They'll probably seize the book, but I won't let the man-panties go without a fight.
