I'm hoping so. It's tomorrow. My wife and I have a single friend coming with us. We want her to meet some other foreigners here in Korea. Let's pick a decent restaurant in Itaewon and let's all meet up there at say 1pm.
Not outback please..... |

I'm cool with that.
PM or post.
(I'll have to leave by about 3:00 though, heading to the musical "Yodok Story") |

Doesn't suji's have a rooftop terrace thingy? (kind of pricey in there, though)
Also, There's a wine bar tyype place called our place that has a rooftop patio...the food's not bad, but not much selection (and the patio is small)
Sorry, probably not too helpful! |

There is New York on the right hand side of I'taewon Street just past the I'taewon Hotel if you were traveling East.
This restaurant has decent pizza and spaghetti and salads. Burgers and steaks were on the menu when I last ate there on December 10, 2004. Another place to consider is the German joint on Bogwangdong Street. It is situated across the street from the very bottom of Hooker Hill on the third floor of a building across the street from the area with a few calling card and cell phone shops and lots of Africans milling about.
The German joint is a good place for steaks, pasta, goulash (sp?), sausages and delicious beers. The German fellow is sort of distant and his Korean wife is a bit too. |

The smoky saloon has a sign with directions off to the left just as you pass out of the turnstile thingies and before you go up the escalator to the exits.
What time is this going on again? |

| I might pop around for a bit. This weather nearly kills me so I tend to minimize the amount of time I spend out of doors during the summer, but I should be alright for a beer or two if I make it. |
