Shamefully this band was my first concert. Any fellow Canadians remember these guys?
 |
I remember this band.
More recently though I was at the MOD Club--no sorry Revival in Toronto and one of the guys from the band has turned into a DJ and was spinning Brit Pop stuff.....I can't remember it was my 30th and well I was totally under the influence of alcohol--oh it never stopped flowing that night and that cab driver....but that's for a whole other discussion |

Far from my first concert, but the first one I ever paid to see:
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Valentine's Day, 1986 |

Well how does Belinda Carlise with the WHOLE family sound followed by your next concert adventure of ready for this Bell Biv Devoe, Toni! Tony! Tone!, Gerardo, C&C Music Factory and Cathy Denis--man what a shameful thing to admit too
I found my way to the good stuff after that but still.....what was my family thinking |
Wow! Staring at a full house, straight, and a 4 of a kind, she lays down a royal flush. Nicely done.

The Beach Boys was my first concert too!
Parental units dropped me off and picked me up, I was in junior high I think, but still one of my first indepenent acts as it invloved someone sharing their beer with me! Some dude was impressed that a little punk like me was into The Beach Boys.
Of course, having friends with cars and then getting one certainly made more concerts available.
Always had great concert experiences, like 'em better than sports. I think the only disappointment I had was when I fell asleeep/passed out at a Molly Hatchet concert. I have no idea how I managed to do that, they were so freakin' loud. |
