yo d00ds, do you know where I can get thai food in this country?
I've only found two restaurants, both in itaewon, both overpriced but decent tasting
I could also go for some americanized japanese food (turns out real japanese people don't fry tons of meat, slather it with teriyaki sauce, and eat it that way), but I don't think it really exists here
And where are the taco bells?
I live in gyeonggido, near byeongjeom station on line 1, next to suwon |

| There used to be an amazing Thai restaraunt here in Ilsan called "Aroi Aroi", that has since moved to Incheon, near the airport. I haven't been to the new one, but it's fabled to be next to the Hyatt and down the street from a driving range. Hope this helps. |

Yes, I was heartbroken to go by there a few weeks back and find it closed. That place was great. Wish I could help the OP but that was the only non-Itaewon, Thai joint I'd ever seen. |

| There is a nice Thai restaurant in Hongdae. I am not sure of the exact directions unfortunately. The prices were cheap and the people were very nice. Now if I could just fine that Peruvian restaurant... |

The place is Khaosan. From Hongik University's main gate, go across the street to the playground, then go straight up. Another Khaosan is near Gangnam subway station.
There is another Thai place in Gwanghwamoon called Little Thai. The map is at this link:

The joint near Ewha sucks.
The best place in Seoul is Little Thai, in the Seoul Finance Center near City Hall. A bit pricey, but spot on cuisine.
There's also a decent joint at the top of the Lotte Department Store/Hotel near City Hall/Myung-dong. |

Little Thai in the Seoul Finance centre is absolutely abyssmal. I'm sorry but I really have to question your taste buds if you think thats the best in Seoul.
The absolute best is called "After the Rain" and its located in Chungdam near the Galleria in Apkujeong. The owners recently opening a slightly less expensive one called "Bangkok Nights" also in Chungdam.
"Sala Thai" also recently opened in Chungdam and I found it be to very nice, its owned by the same people as one of the Thai restaurants in Itaewon. |
