Got a bicycle recently but I am finding the times when I most feel like going for a ride are when its already dark outside.

Could anybody tell me if cyclists are required by law to have headlights on their bikes if riding at night? This is the case at home. How about helmets - required by law? Again, this is the case at home but I have never worn a helmet. But here I don't want to give a cop a reason to pull me over.

Thanks in advance for the info

Are there bicycle laws in Korea? Hell, even the cars and scooters drive on the sidewalks... what makes you think there are bike laws....

No worry.... not about helmet or bike laws anyway... just try to avoid getting hit by a car or stray delivery guy.

i think the only real korean bike law is

"you are the bottom rung of the road ladder. therefore, know your place and protect yourself".
