Does anybody know any agencies that hire native English Teachers to do conversations on the phone with clients?

Has anybody done this before? And teaching online with audio chat?

Thank you, i would appreciate your thoughts on this.

Everybody I know works it like private tutors online so I can't help you out but from what I hear it isnt too hard to start your own. Just buy a few google ads and you are set. Smile Well, maybe not that easy....

ok, Thanks.

Has anybody heard of Phone call teaching in Korea? You get an ok wage and just chat on the phone perhaps 1 or 2 hours a day. Easy money.

Thanks.

Pros: you can do it anywhere, its hard for immigration to catch you

Cons: often the person who pays you finds it simpler to change their number and disappearing rather than paying you the cash, you have to talk to X people for X minutes each to earn your money...often working out to much more than an hour of your time, keeping track of who you talked to, learning how to hangup when your time is over.

The hours usually suck. 6am-9am and 9pm-11pm and I've seen pay usually between 15k-20k/hr. Some places that have lots of school-aged students will have some later afternoon/early evening shifts.

There are good ones out there. Worth looking into if you can find an adequate schedule.

I did this at a hakwon years ago. One hours pay for one hours work...not likely.

do you ralize how many times you have to say "요보세요....모 모 모 있어요?"
"나? 영어 선셍님입니다?"

"네...가나다요."

"Put your goddam son on the phone biatch before I hunt you down and beat you like a boshintang dog!"

Something like that. 20k an hour is not worth your time. Even longer on the phone, truly not worth it.
