I concur 1000%. To think that a team actually spent a draft pick on this guy...Must have been the "trendy" pick at the time, praying for the next Yao Ming...BRUTAL.

Alright, so I get home today at around 3:30, excited because I'll be able to catch most of the US vs. Korea game. And what do I find? SBS Sports is instead broadcasting some meaningless soccer game.

I mean, even though the biggest basketball stars in the world are visiting our country for possibly the only time, there's no way we're showing our countrymen getting slaughtered on LIVE TV. Not on Korean Liberation Day (not to be confused with Korean Independence Day). Let's throw it on at 10:30 when everyone's watching Sunday night prime time dramas.

Mad

(Anyway, those who attended the game: how was it?)

I saw the US/Lith. game by chance on TV, have they shown the US/Korean game? If not then when?

SBS Sports will replay it today and Friday, both times at 3pm.

Some comments on Korea from NBA.com...

"Coach K decided to have a meeting in the morning at 10:30 a.m. to go over the game plan and the team boarded a 12:30 p.m. bus for the arena. The arena was very old, and pretty dirty. Not sure if it had air conditioning or not, but it was awfully hot in there. There were also mosquitoes throughout the place, even out on the floor!! It certainly wasn't what any of us are used to."

No, I wouldn't say so...

The Korean coach was pretty vocal during the campaign and his shirt was drenched with sweat in the second half. Normal Korean adjosshi.

Coach K was usually sitting on his chair just directing his players from time to time.

Arenas here certainly need fine tuning. Take a look at their baseball stadiums, they're old and decrepid, especially Dongdaemoon. I've seen opening season pics with cracked cement floors, broken glass in the boxes and torn protective nets.

They spent a fortune on their soccer stadiums and they're not even half full at any K-League game and hardly make in the red.
