|

Hey there, I'm looking for some guys in Daegu who would be interested in getting together on the weekends to play some football (thats the American kind for all our British and Australian friends) maybe make it a regular thing. We could ghetto rig some flags for flag-football or get money together and buy some real ones. I figure there must be some other Americans or maybe Canadians in this city who love football and are really missing their fix (never tried our style football? try it out, you might have fun). Anyway, right now I'm trying to see how much interest there is so if your in Daegu and interested send me an e-mail to [email protected] Thanks |

I'm in like Flynn!
I have two american footballs here and I played touch football for 18 years in Canada. I've been looking for an opportunity for this. I think I might be able to round up one or two others.
I can even get a set of rules for touch football (easier to play than flag).
Looking forward to this effort!

I would love to haven't played football in a while but Daegu is a little too far. I would wonder if there is anyone in Seoul or Incheon that would like to get some sort of football (american) style started. |

I'm interested, live just outside Daegu. Might be able to find a couple more guys who are interested to play. One question, where are you thinking of playing? Dirt fields are common in Korea and grass fields can be expensive to play or we may not be allowed to play on the fields. |

I remember a couple years ago there was a rugby team that met to practice and play at camp walker or henry or something...anyway, if someone knows someone who could organize games there, we may be able to play on a grass field there. Maybe there is even someone on the board here who is from the base.
Just a thought,

Thats awesome that so many people are interested. As far as where I guess I was thinking about an elementary school field, I don't think I've seen a grass field since I've been so that hadn't occured to me, but if anyone knows a good spot... I do think somewhere near downtown or at least on the subway line would be the most convenient. |

There is a grass field at Keimyung University, just off the side of South gate. Very close to Keimyung Staton on the subway line. It is first come first serve though.
There are three or four others here that would also be interested.
