I have only been here 3 years. I think I know much more than most of the long time F- whatever/married to Korean/Visa holders as far as the law goes, and I also think many of the legit recruiters are sick of you!

In my opinion the public schools/recruiters would much rather work with E-2 holders than your conceited(Wayo reason the F- whatever holder thinks they are better) ARSES!

Anyway, back to the point... Wayo your F- whatever visa holder ***** haven't told you about the KBS report about the norm/typical report you would expect after Korea H./something newpaper articles weak attempt to point the finger at Waygookins?

Why do I have to report that KBS dueced us 2-3 days ago with their Korean ***** - UP / RACIST REPORTING?

**** KBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot quote because I ain't got the ***** Korean girlfriend, nor do I speak/understand hangul.

The so-called legit(governmentally funded/totally and/or practically supported KBS television news stated... that basically we(FOREIGN TEACHERS) are nothing but scum, "illegals ect... ect... undocumented, etc... ect..., liars ect..., ect... criminals ect... ect..."

Where is everyone with the details???

Are ya snoozing?

I understand, I thought I was going to die the other day before the weather changed!!!

I'll explain these mad ramblings:

1) He's been in Korea 3 years and doesn't speak Korean
2) He doesn't speak English

Dude. Maybe you should read someof those books you sell.
I'm an F-holder. I'm not going to your place again.
Who's the crazy wae-gook now?

Edit: That article is just about a bunch of illegal teachers (Asians and foreigners).

Wow I'm surprised. How dare they write an article about something true.

Crimes by foreigners in Korea rise sharply
With the number of crimes committed by foreigners increasing rapidly, more local people are becoming victims, a ruling party lawmaker claimed during the parliamentary audit and inspection of the National Policy Agency yesterday.... He warned that some of these foreigners were beginning to organize in groups to commit bigger crimes. "Since it is very likely that local people are in greater danger from these crimes, plans to prevent them must be made immediately," he said.

Relax Op, no one's on your case.
It's not easy being on an E2. Feels like someone's always got a hold over you. Then that feeling leads to greater sensitivity about a whole lot of other issues when they arise and about being an obvious foreigner in a stark place.
However, you know there is light at the end of the tunnel.
So, stay alive, work slowly and surely, save some money, enjoy life around you by trying to forget you appear different.

As for the F's. Well, maybe they appear lucky but actually one must go into other's shoes to understand they have their own demons and difficulties to contend with.

I don't think the OP has much of a problem with the F-holders, per say, but the fact that TV news programs on KBS,SBS, MBC, etc., keep reporting stories about foreigners in a negative way.

This all started with the Sports Seoul articles about some frenchmen they interviewed that boasted about 200 "conquests" each. Then it spread to the Konkuk University scandal and the infamous ES scandal that followed. Now a friend of mine is telling that they are reporting the JonBonnet Ramsey case and how the teacher spent 1 year in Korea back in the early-2000's.

I think all this has alot to do with the fact that the Americans are leaving soon (a good friend of mine won't allow me to ellaborate more about it, except that a large number of troops will leave in the foreseeable future) and they need a new source to blame all their troubles on, so they find it in the English-speaking foreigners here now. They beat the "illegal migrant workers" horse to death and got pinched by the U.N. for it. They started punching the "combined force structure" to the point that the U.S. is now seriously thinking of withdrawing from the peninsula and now they need a new source of blame and source of scorn for the public, and that is the foreign ESL/EFL population here.

One person said, "How can I be blamed for what is going on? It certainly isn't everyone doing it."

Well, in Korean eyes, ALL foreigners are to blame, whether you are married to a Korean or if you are in Korea on a Legit E2 visa or if you just stopped into Korea to make a few bucks. AND even those people who simply did come to Korea to see the country out of curiousity, to the average Korean, all of them are to blame for the faults in Korean society.

Unless Koreans open their mind and country to the world and learn to except that Korea is not a "one-blood" country, then there might be hope.

Unfortunately, it will take about 3 generations for that to happen....
