anyone else remember the old style can from the 80's when it had that key at the side and you had to fit it into the hole on top and roll it open?
i remember having to be so careful because if you messed it up, it was so hard to open the darned rectangular can with a can opener!!
the asian marts near me sell the spam extra spicy (with tabasco) but it doesnt taste good at all! |

The man who takes several pictures of a broken jar of pickles. He might photoshop them too. |

there was a recipe for cheese and spam quiche on 'Good Eats' last night, complete with the monty python spam chant in the background, it was odd as i wouldnt have expected spam on that show
tzechuk, not sure, the corned beef hash they sell here is just from a regular round can but those keys on the spam can was quite fun wasnt it? i think they should bring it back |

Why? Just so people can fiddle with it? Just so they can risk it breaking before the can's opened? And risk cutting their fingers on that razor-sharp edge? Hmm. Okay, I see your point.
Yeah! Bring back the key!!
Now if we can only get Dongwon Tuna to bring back those wicked little tin cutters. Oh the many fond memories of wearing my fingers out on those things. Plus the jagged edges they'd leave -- can't beat it! |
