What would it take to get you to leave your homeland for good? |

A pair of apartment buildings and some real estate in the Gagnam area should do the trick-dee-doodle doo. |

Ya, I got British citizenship about 2 years ago and all my future plans changed. Might still do what I was planning, but many more options (EU). I am currently a non-resident of Canada though. |

I picked $500,000. I think that'd be enough to allow me to live comfortably for a long time while considering other sources of income besides teaching at home. But I wouldn't be staying here in Korea. Do the US Virgin Islands count as home? It's part of the US but barely (they don't even have a representative in government). There would be other places to go.

How about several of the above? I have nothing against Canada, but aside from seeing my family, I'd be quite happy never living or visiting there again. So I'd probably do it for the right man, or for $500000, or if another country granted me citizenship, and definitely with pleasure. |

I'd willingly pull a Conrad Black-esqe emmigration. If I was ever awarded a title, and Canada tried to block it, I'd be gone in a jiffy. |

I have intentions on leaving the U.S. for good anyway.
The U.S. sux arze big time.
To me, the U.S. is just my place of birth, not a place I want to stay. |

I totally agree with you. Anyone can have my share of the US any day. I only go there to see Mom and Dad. |

I said "in no situation imagninable", but then I got thinking. If my parents and friends left Canada (most of my friends have actually) and I was given a tonne of money (paper) then I guess I would have no reason to go back. Although, I would have one big last vacation across Canada before I did it. |

I agree with this and even seeing my family again is questionable... |
