Hi,
I just got to Taejeon and we are looking for some stuff to fill up our apartment. We need a DVD player, power converter, computer speakers, portable telephone, a lamp, kitchen equipment (pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, etc.). Please PM with any list of stuff for sale in Taejon!

As you are in Daejeon, you should consider joining this group:

most of the members are from Daejeon, and you will have more luck, not to mention saving on shipping costs by buying from locals.
Costco has a reliable DVD player for 35,000, plays multi-region, but you will have to buy membership to be able to go there (30,000 per year, worth it for the steaks and sour cream). It's beside Seo-daejeon train station.
