| Also, you have to leave work on breaks sometimes, if you work something like 9-5, just so you can go to the bank to pay your bills. |

Two choices:
1. Stop letting them push you around, take over your desk, deny you a computer, and tell you what you can do with your lunch time, or;
2. Continue to be a pussie.
It's as simple as that. Just depends on what you want to be in life: a doormat or a human being. |

| I'll see you at the dinner this weekend, and i'll give you directions to the labor board, if you want. There's no way he can force you to stay at school during lunch. Labor law over-rides anything to the contrary in your contract. |

I would say this to your director:
"If I come back drunk feel free to fire me. Until then I'm going out to eat."
I'd be seriously offended if some asshat for a boss assumed I would be a drunk because some teacher he hired in the past had been. You aren't that teacher so shouldn't he allow you to prove yourself? Go out and get some lunch for Christ's sake! |
