I have to say the trunk money videos made me laugh. Especially the anti-theft one where the monkey threw the guy off the bridge.

I'd like to see the Trunk Monkey take on The Kids in the Hall's "Grizzly Bear" after he's had a few drinks!

1+1+1=4 that clip is indeed better than the sum of its parts.

I love the Dandy Warhols.

This video was made by some guy for the song and I love it. Its feels very free and wandering, playful like the song (listen to how loose the instruments are playing at the start - it sort of fits in with the frames being out of focus in the video). It's shot in slow motion as well, and the kids are from the 70's . Its like a hazey memory of a summer day when you would play all day with your friends in the sunshine. When you were a kid. The swirling synths are like you are floating in the blue blue clear sky, free. Like the slow frame captures seems like the kids are floating on their skateboards.

And then there is the breakdown section where things start to build to a chant. This section is shot in real speed where you see the consequence of actions. Responsibilities that you are due others. The realisation that the world does not just belong to you. Being brought down to earth with a bump. Like adulthood. Chanting in unison as opposed to the freedom you had when you were a kid.

And then you also got Richard Nixon at the end and and that black and white vampire movie in the middle (< That sentence was added as the tone of this post is TOO pretentious)

I love the Dandy Warhols.

Have you seen the film documenting their rivalry with the Brian Jonestown Massacre?
DiG?
IMO a pretty compelling documentary.

That footage looks like it's from The Lords of Dogtown, or at least inspired by it (the award-winning documentary, not the cheesy hollywood movie based on the documentary).
