jj's is probably the easiest place to pick up in the whole of seoul. i would say about half the people in there are trying to meet someone.
but the drinks are damn expensive... just get drunk somewhere else first, and hit the dancefloor immediately.
oh and don't go to 'don't tell mama'.. the only thing remotely amusing about that place is the name. my friend dragged me there once; some of the women there were old enough to be my mother! i think its ok if you're in your 40s, but anyone younger than that might wish they had gone somewhere else.

Thank god the guy is smiling or I wouldn't have seen him. Gosh, that's a highly racist joke.

No, he just camouflages really well. I had trouble spotting him.

Indeed I do. If your monitor isn't angled just right, it can be difficult to see where my hat stops and I begin.

Oh christ he... errr you are wearing a hat? I had to look at the picture a third time. Once I got in one of those sticker photo booths with my Chinese friend and her (Slurpee) Indian friend. And then there was blond, pale skin me. The booth exposed for their hair and skin. I ended up looking like a light bulb in a pink button down Oxford.

J.J. Mahoney's at the Hyatt? Haven't been there in about three years. Last time I went there I got charged 10,000 won for a bottle of water. Haven't been back since. Don't recall it being an "easy pick up" place. Then again I wasn't looking. Do you need to go there late in the evening? My cousin is visiting from Seattle in June and I want him to enjoy himself. He's a bit old for the club scene, but if JJ Mahoney's is the place to be....

Can anyone confirm this, or is bobbyhanlon just a stud?

^ Did not notice that. Either way, the place is still there. Is it still the swinging place described by some?

From what I can gather, JJ's is a staple on the gold-digger circuit. Anyone with a pulse and a gold card can score - providing you have the latter, that is. Mind you I have never actually been there myself because I am an ESL teacher. If I was a high roller (and unmarried) I would probably be a regular there lol.
