I think he mans the little slip of paper they give you on the plane that you have to fill in.
There used to be an arrival form and departure form. When I flew last month there wasn't a departure form any more. It seems we won't have to fill in the arrival card now.

Wow talk about horrible English.

Nicely, it means that (starting August 1st) we do NOT have to fill in departure OR arrival cards when we come and go on our vacations.

As long as you have your ARC and passport, you are exempt from filling in the arrival/departure card at passport control.

Saves us about 2 minutes on the way through.

Cathay Pacific was still handing out arrival cards middle of this month but immigration just ignored it. You do need to fill in a customs declaration form now though on incoming flights.

Yes, upon returning to Incheon last week, I didn't have to fill out the arrival card.

Nice-uh!

I read it elsewhere and told my husband about it but on return, CX (like your schwa) handed them out and hubby forced me to fill them in, which I did. At the check point, immi told hubby there was no longer any need to fill in landing card and I was a little annoyed to say the least!!!

(It's a real struggle writing when Letty is around, she demands to have the pen AND the paper.... so when I was filling in the cards, she wanted my pen and the paper, and I had to find her another pen and her mini travel sketch book to write on but of course that wasn't good enough because it wasn't the pen *I* was using, nor was it the paper *I* was writing on).............................. Confused

I flew to and from Hong Kong at the end of June, and no one asked for it. In fact, when I returned from Thailand in January, they didn't ask for it. I had filled it out in advance, since the forms are still there for the Koreans, but they didn't take it and it's still tucked in my passport.
