Ditto
But, having been subjected to U.S. CNN all summer in the States, I would say the race to the bottom is very close. Should we include all of the blonde bimbetttes as one? Then the order would be Lou (never saw a Mexican I liked) Dobbs, followed by the Napoleon-complexed Wolf Blitzer, followed by the crew of bimbettes.
Then there is that Aussie who has so much to say about so little regarding Lebanon.
Ahhh, the list just goes on.
Can they Clone Christi Ann Amanpour? |

I agree, good objective news is hard to find these days. |

If I had a band, I would call it The 10,000 Screaming Brides of Peter Mansbridge. I actually met his wife Wendy Mesley once. |

I really admire Christiane Amanpour. I think she's eloquent, poised, concise, everything you want in a journalist.
I enjoy Richard Quest but find him to be almost a caricature. Throw on a set of discolored fasle teeth and he reminds me of a villian in an Austin Powers type film.
EDIT: Reread the title. Worst. Absolutely, Lou Dobbs. Reminds me of one of my grandfather's drunken Sunday afternoon rants whenever he would see a black person on T.V. since we didn't know any real ones. Fortunately, he's not in international CNN and at home I wouldn't watch CNN for news. Fox or nothing . |

Young guy with white hair = Anderson Cooper. Have no problems with him. However, I didn't see the begging/pleading/crying episode from New Orleans.
CNN gem of the month would have to go to Chuck Roberts of Headline News. After Ned Lamont beat Lieberman in the CT primary, Roberts referred to him as "The Al Queda Candidate." Seemed like old Chuck was in bed with Cheney. BUT he did issue a full apology after the lefternet got pissed off at that one. Somewhat redeeming.
Aaron Brown is pretty annoying. Having seen CNN at odd hours, I particularly loathe the Aaron Brown segment where he reads the headlines from around the country.
But the award has to go to Daryn Kagan, totally hot, not bad at reading the news, but the world's worst judgment:
Rush Limbaugh's (ex?)girlfriend. |

Yeah, Mary Lou is hot. Can't stand Amanpour, or however it's spelled. Mostly because I think I've heard "The last time Na Zera saw her sons they were being marched away with their hands behind their backs" so many times that now any time her voice issues from my tv speakers I want to grind my ears against the pavement until I have none left.
I also don't like Maria Ramos, the weather girl at about noonish. It really breaks the flow to have an overweight anchor pop up and speak with a thick spanish accent in hurried english about the weather over Northern Africa. I'm just accustomed to seeing pretty people and she ain't it.
And I can't believe no one has mentioned Larry King. Can't stand that guy. He kisses so much ass it's pathetic. "40,000 interviews and I'm just warmin' up." Maybe his current trophy wife will hump him into the grave.

The only thing I watch on CNN is World Sport! Terry Baddoo is good, with added nostalgia value for former BBC Newsround viewers...
