That "America" guy is a real gem. A devout Christian who says that he loves his wife dearly, and yet goes on-line to try to pick up fourteen-year-old girls for sex. Classy. I wonder if his wife knows what a hypocritical, adulterous pedophile this guy is. I could puke. |

| What is the point of having a myspace page? It seems like an online personal ad. Do people really find friends through myspace, or what? The comments from people all seem pretty vapid- stuff like, "Hugs and kisses!", "what's up, dawg?", and stuff. Maybe I'm too old... |

You have to use it to prove to the world how cool you are. If you look at my page, there's a selection of three songs you can listen to, which coordinates with my list of musical interests in that they are mostly obscure artists, with the occasional famous artist thrown in to mask my pretentiousness. There's also a video clip from a Korean "gag show", which lets people know I'm down with foreign culture. I put four poems up, and this lets people know that I am artsy and sophisticated. There are also some pictures of friends and students of mine here in Korea, which will alert American viewers to the fact that I'm living in a foreign country, in Asia at that, which is tray sheikh. Finally, I have a selection of pictures of myself taken at the best possible angles and lighting, mostly from three years ago when I was in better shape.
The goal is to eventually get laid by proxy. |
