There are quite a few kindergarten teachers here in Korea and I started this thread for teachers to share what works for you in your classes and what to avoid.

My first job was kindergarten and we had a singing hour every morning to start the day. Got pretty boring singing the same stuff.

Many school will want the foreign teacher to help with seasonal recitals in which the students families and friends attend. Please also include material which would help in this arena.

I teach kindergarten almost exclusively. I've posted all my favorite resources (with descriptions) here:

I've been updating the list from time to time, so check back once in a while. If you have a computer in the classroom, there are some great resources there for actually teaching or just burning time.

Heydelores,

Thanks for posting those links. I have no doubt that it will become a good resource for me and many others in the future.

Every time I do a google search, I end up with so many results, it's a daunting task to try and rummage through them all. So many sites are misleading or are not actually free or just aren't appropriate for children here.

Thanks again.
