What were your favorite books when you were little?

Reminder, perhaps you should choose a book that was published BEFORE or DURING your childhood...

So, it is a lifesize picture of you in the avatar? Wink

I was on a George Bush rant...

I must have read every single Enid Blyton book as a kid and I think I still have most of them.
"The Five Find Outers'(sp)
'The Famous Five'
'The Secret Seven'
Then I think there was some kind of Willow Farm series as well.

Anyway my absolute favorite was the 'The Secret Island'. I still read it occasionally.

The children's book that had the most effect was the penguin edition of Dracula. I read it when I was 10 maybe, and have had recurring Vampire dreams ever since. At first extremely scary, now just the norm.
