|
|
I bought this bike for a friend to use while he was visiting Korea. We both had VS125's and drove them from Seoul to Kangwondo to Geoje-do -- like a 5 day, 1000km test drive and neither had any problems. I took it into the shop today and the guys said there was nothing to fix!
I'm posting a pic of my friend's bike, but I could really sell either one. His is a '98, mine a '00.
I'd ask 650,000 or b/o for the '98 (green one in the pic), or 1.0 for the '00 (silver color).
Email for more details or a pic of the '00.
Located on Geoje island -- can deliver to Jinhae via car ferry.

Any chance you would be willing to bring the bike to Daegu? I am too new here to drive it from there to Daegu. |

Daegu is a possibility. I have a few other people interested, but if they don't buy soon I'll consider making that trip. Of course, you'd have to be basically sure that you're going to buy -- my description of the bike is accurate and you can trust that it runs well -- otherwise it wouldn't make it to Daegu.
I'll be in touch. |

Both bikes are still available -- I've dropped the price on the silver one to 850,000 -- it makes a bit of vibration noise which is kinda annoying, but possible easy or cheap to fix -- not sure.
Here's a pic:

Let me know if your prospective buyers aren't interested. I am still interested in the green bike. Thanks. |

Still have both bikes -- prices are the same as above (green one = 650,000; silver one = 850,000).
I have someone on the island here who might buy one soon -- never can tell though. Want to make and offer or come see them? (It's a great excuse to come visit lovely Geoje island -- of course, I'm willing to drive a bit for those who are serious about buying). |

Dropping prices, need to sell. The silver one can be in the 600K won neighborhood or so. Frankly I have no idea what a "good price" is anymore. I'm sure I was ripped off when I bought these bikes from the shop in Seoul, but as I said before, I didn't have much of a choice due to time issues.
I really don't like having 2 bikes, especially since I only ride one to and from school and I've been too lazy (and ill) to go out much on the weekends. So I'm feeling stupid for having 2 bikes and not even riding much.
I'm putting the green one on hold because a mechanic told me there might be some things to fix -- I still have to get a 2nd opinion on that -- a friend told me that that particular mechanic is a crook. |

Yeah shops tend to rip you off. 600K is a fair resell price as far as I'm concerned. I'd be up for that if it was the kind of bike I want, but alas, it's not. |
