Has anyone had to renew their passport in Korea? I lived here last year on an E-2 visa, went home for a few weeks and got back in the country this week even though my passport will expire in November.
My question is, how easy is it to renew my passport here? Can it be done at the embassy or do I have to leave the country? Also, I wanted to change my 30 day Visa to a 90 Visa.
Any information will help. |

I renewed my pasport while working in Germany.
I calledthe embassy and asked what I needed:
-Passport
-3 Passport size photos
-Money
When I got there they took my money, photos, and passport and 20 minutes later I had my new passport plus my old one with a hole punched through it.
Painless and easy. |
