Hi everyone..I'm still in the US, but I was recently offered a position at a "new" school in cheonan.

The recruiter seems to be from British Columbia (Korean). I've spoken w/ him on the phone a couple times, and he seems honest. Can anyone give me a "heads-up" on what I should look out for? Keep in mind?

They've sent me a copy of the contract via email, it's in English and Korean and it looks and sounds okay (severence, housing, etc.)

I am Asian and can read/write Korean well. They don't seem to mind my nationality, as I am a native speaker and born here in the states.

Anything would be greatly appreciated!

I would make one additional comment:

New school + new program + newbie teacher = receipe for disaster.

How many opinions do you need if the contract seems fair and you can read the Korean version of it to boot?

What are you looking for here? Garantee that all will be as you expect?

I think you got good feedback in the other thread and that you seem happy with the offer (contract) and the recruiter...so whats the deal?
