On average, how many students do you have per class period?
Fewer than 12?
20?
30?
I'm just curious. |

I've taught in two schools. Between the two, the smallest "class" was 2. Largest was around 20. |

I've had classes of 12-42 at public school. It all depends on where one works. You could end up with anywhere from 1 to 45+. |

Nope. I'm pretty much on my own, but I do have full support of the K-teachers (home room teachers... normally off teaching another subject to other classes) and/or the boss if I need them for discipline, explaining something difficult, "accidents", etc.
I teach really great kids and though they do get a bit loud and crazy at times (with 18~22 kindy kids that's to be expected!), I usually have very few problems with them that I cannot handle myself. |
