What do you think of Mel Gibson since his drunken dirty mouth has gotten him in so much trouble?

I still respect the man. Braveheart is a classic. I've heard good things about The Passion of The Christ, but have not seen it yet.

Still haven't found out what he said.

"Something like Jews created all the wars?" and calling the officer "sugar titts"More to it?

I remember reading a People magazine story on him drinking at some outback pubwhen I was working at an aluminium smelter.

It negatively concluded with.."and he never bought a round"

Exactly.
And a foolish one at that.

Too bad fame and fortune can't buy you common sense.

We can even forget entirely about what he said, and he's still a fool.
When you can afford to buy an entire cab company much less pay for a cab home then you are a reckless negligent fool to get behind the wheel of a sportscar plastered.

I voted fool, but I was confused and thought we were evaluating the OP.

Thanks a lot man! It's nice that people have an opinion of me rather than no opinion. Cheers!

BTW, what does your avatar mean?

Only because you suggest him not being a fool is an option.

You shouldn't take anything on Dave's too seriously. I was just taking a poke at him while respecting his work. I like Mel, but if he wants to be taken seriously as a director, he has to watch his mouth at all times drunk or not drunk.

Your avatar is cool. I sure wish people in this world would respect human life and just live with their differences. Who needs this war shiiiit? Your avatar sends that message.

So, a person can't be both a genius and a fool? I would have voted for both had the option existed on your poll.

If that were everyone's criteria, Hallmark would go out of business.

Must be weird living in Hollywood. Like Korea without the kimchi....

There's a tradition of breaking down there. James Dean's crash, etc....

Mel Gibson these days looks like Tom Hanks in Castaway, except there was rum on the island....
