'cause i got this big cat, see. and i've looked around the area, pet stores, vet places, but none of the carriers work,...too small or too big or, ya know...aren't there.

me and the fatty are leaving the country soon, so am a little worried.

just wondering....anyone out there got a great pet carrier, for a fat cat er small dog? where'd you get it? specific store names and addresses would be fabulous, thanks..

trite nuance

It means your witty response was not appreciated. Nice try though. Give you that. I didn't laugh either, it just achieved a miniature smirk.

Ask a Korean friend or co-worker to look online for you. Or, ask your vet.

Okay, I'm not a vet, and am far from an expert on this topic, but found this option for you to consider, maybe coupled with a smaller-sized carrier:

If you'd consider it, maybe investigate it further... ?

Why not just break the cat down and pack it in separate pieces? Worked for me, though the cat was surprisingly less active after we arrived at our destination.

But really, how big can this cat of yours be? You must be looking for a dog carrier, eh? I'd second the suggestion of online shopping.

Yea I'd ask a korean to shop online...

Or maybe you could take a picture of your cat, so they can see how big it is... and go to a pet store and point to a cat, the cages, and make gestures for "bigger".

cheers for the replies..

it was sorta a silly request, maybe.

i just read something on another post about someone who'd found the perfect carrier somewhere here in seoul, and was hoping for directions to a specific shop.

i was kinda panicking when i made the OP, and have to leave soon...forgot the cat won't fit in my knapsack...

and he SO doesn't like to be chopped up to fit in my pocket, animalbirdfish. Smile

i don' t think i have time to order something online now, but i know i'll find something here. a friend with a cat is gonna take me to where they got their cage...er at least where there are a lot of pet shops.

i bought one at carrefour, and it just fell apart when i tried to fit the fatty in it.

i haven't sensibly looked since...but i will.

HEY! Yeah I have one for a large cat or small dog... My dog is going to be a medium sized dog... I wanna sell it for 30,000 since I have been using it for the past few days and bought it not brand new... But its really sturdy... Holds up to 8 killos Ithink... My dog is 5 Killos and fits in it now no problem, but he is going to be much bigger... Where do you live? I can send pictures if you want...
write me about it!!!
