| You have to keep in mind that if Muslims behaved as they did in France and England, it would be open season on them and anybody who looked like them. There is an ugly streak in American Society. The Muslims Know this. If there is a string of suicide bombings in the US like that in Isreal and other places, there aren't enough cops in the world to protect them. It would quite similar to what occurs in India when Muslims misbehave. |

How exactly do Muslims behave in England, in your opinion? I'm curious to know if you're observations are similair to mine.... |

So if Muslims "blew up buses ect" in America it'd be "open season" on them?
You're making a massive generalisation here, based on media reporting of an act committed by a tiny minority, which the majority of Muslims in the UK feel was as unnecessary as everybody else. |

Too right. But you will get better food in Mill Woods, which is a largely Muslim and Hindu area. Not that I don't appreciate the silly comment. Let me guess, you are from Ontario?
Though, I did get the majority of my anti-Islamic feelings from time spent living in an Islamic nation.

Anyhow, I as much as I enjoy being called a conspiracy nut, I'm going to have to decline that label. When a group of people follow a religion that dictates that they must be, in my eyes, 'bad', then I feel comfortable criticising them.
I think the majority of muslims generally, and all obedient muslims specifically, are uncivilized barbarians. Not that I think much of right-wing Christian fundamentalists either. But they way they treat women, sexual minorities, religious minorities and their hubris towards the infidels makes me sick. Not to mention the trail of blood that follows their every movement around our sick globe.
I dislike islam because I am a consistant Liberal.
I've never, ever met a muslim who belives that homosexuals should be accorded any rights. I believe that homosexuals should be treated 100% equally. There is a 100% gap there, and I don't have to pretend that there isn't.
When you are around muslims, ask them what they think about this stuff... They are quite honest people, if nothing else. |

Fair enough.
At least you're basing your ideas on experience, rather than rhetoric. Can I assume there's a different degree of criticism for someone who doesn't like, for example, homosexuals, and someone who attacks and either tries or does kill them?
My only concern is that the western world is whipping itself into a mob mentality when it comes to muslims. It's more than fair to criticise intolerance in a group of people, but I think some people need to be able to seperate their issues. There are people who are semi rational and can be reasoned with. There are some who rabid, irrational and hate filled. One group you need to talk to, the other you need to put down any way you can.
And I can sympathise with your story about the intolerance of muslims you've met. I met some ex-Iraqi soldiers who'd been drafted into the army for Gulf War 1, captured and allowed to immigrate to Australia. One guy was very pious and prayed every day - other than that - he was a perfectly nice guy and I went to his place for dinner. His one quirk, was that he was convinced their was a jewish conspiracy ruling the world. What can you do? I told him he was an idiot and kept eating. The point is we were still friends - we disagreed on this one point, and got to debate it, and over time he softened on that idea. If I had been disgusted with him slammed the table, walked out...he'd still think jews rule the world and that I was in on it. When you end the dialogue and just stand in opposition to them what do you think is going to happen? |
