heya
i'll be arriving in korea in a couple of weeks, and i need to know something. what's the deal with waxing? in my experience, korean women don't have too much body hair, so is waxing something that is common? i'm mainly interested in bikini (i hate shaving!)and eyebrow (i am dangerous with tweezers) waxing. where would i find an esthetician, hair salon, jimjilbang, spa? and what are prices like?

My girl gets a full Brazillian wax twice a month for a fairly reasonable price. The first treatment was a bit more expensive due to...let's say, the need for extra materials. You can find places to do it in just about any shopping district in Seoul. Your best bet would be south of the river near Gangnam and Apgujeong. If you'd like, I can find out the name of the place where she goes.

I go to dashing diva in COEX (samsung station, line 2). There are this big pink place near the foodcourt, can't miss them. I get my eyebrows, legs and bikini waxes done there. Ask for Lucy.
